Marble Nails

Something new i picked up last week, marble nails. It's a crazy effect on your nails. Really pretty, but it takes lots of time, work and nailpolish.
All you need is a small cup of water, nailpolishes in different colors and a toothpick.
On the pic below you'll see how it works. It looks easy, but it isn't...
Tried two times, and failed miserably. My nailpolish won't spread out on the surface.
The first two drops i put in the water spread out, but from the third drop, they don't anymore.

Do any of you guys have tricks for that? I used plain water, on room temperature. Maybe i should try bottled water, or warmer?

Tomorrow i'm going to a girlsnight, and i'll try it there on someone else's nails, maybe that will work better.

Color changing nail polish

In the mood comes with these new nail polishes: Color changing. How cool is that? :)
When you're in a normal mood, it will have a french manicure effect, because the colors are mostly light and the temperature of your nailbed is higher. And the color will change the most when you keep your fingers in cold or warm water.

Unfortunately you can't find them in Belgium yet, i hope it will come to here soon! But i heard someone say they sell nail polishes like that (not with the french manicure look) at claire's. When i have the chance, i'll have to check it out!

"I sea you" nailpolish

Shopping spree! <3 And i bought new nail polishes! One i tried immediateley. It's a blueish green (like we say in dutch, appelblauwzeegroen) a color you don't see very often, but i like it! I'm curious about the comments i'm going to get. Do you like it? It's from Catrice and the color is called I sea you, it costs around 2,50 euros. It already looked good with 1 layer, which i like, but i always use 2 layers, just to be sure.

"Granit" nail polish

Got this nail polish a while ago, but didn't try it on, 'till now. It's a dark grey, a really pretty color. Black is so dark, which i sometimes like, but this color is a good alternative, especially for who doens't dare to wear black. The color is called Granit.
It takes 2 layers, cause the first layer is transparent. It was a cheap nail polish, but whit the second layer it looks very good. I didn't use a base coat, too lazy...

The saleslady wanted me to buy another one, it was 3 for the price of 2. But i first want to see if it's a good nail polish. Well, for that price it was a good buy anyway, it was like 3 euro.
